My role

I am the operations unit head at ESAF Bank, overseeing eight diverse teams: CTS,RPT,AOCO,PAYMENTS,CRDM,FTU,PSQ ,and UAM. With a dedicated team of 39 members.

Key responsibilities

CLEARING

Handling inward and outward clearing, technically verified and processed cheque/DD. Posting GL entries, reconciliation of inward/outward, resolving branch queries

LOAN PROCESSING

Analyzing and scrutinizes loan application, verifying loan documentation, Reviewed loan files for accuracy prior to sending to Compliance and Closing to minimize errors, prepare loan disbursement reconciliation and MIS report, Prepare NPA report

FX SETTLEMENT

Report high volume of FX transaction and create liquidity report and processed FX settlement reconciliation

PAYMENTS (NEFT&RTGS)

NEFT batch settlement entries and reconciliation, RTGS reconciliation and EOD entries, RTGS/NEFT return transaction updating, MMS verification and maker entries, handing DMS, High value transaction monitoring, prepare daily MIS report.

CARD OPERATION

Analysis CBR report and Rising charge back, adjustment through NPCI, RePin/ Card processing, Posting teller entries /Handling DMS.

FUND TRANSFER OPERATION

Process swift message (M202, M299, 999)

ACCOUNTS CHANNEL MAINTAINS

Opening of Accounts (Data Entry) in Bank system, Documents verification, customer data modification, KYC verification, Identify Customer risk status through AML Evaluating and monitoring suspicious transactions

TRANSACTION BANKING PROCESSING/ ENQUIRIES

Process standing order instruction as per customer request, Process stop
payment of cheques, salary uploading activities, Maintaining the day-today records of the activities in the system.

INTERNAL AUDITING

Process Auditing, Accounts & vouchers, Identify the leakage of fund, analysis the transaction, Fixed Assets Schedule
